This privacy statement (“Privacy Statement”) is issued on behalf of LABWEAR VENTURES GMBH, also referred to as "LABWEAR", "we", "us" or "our" in this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement aims to inform you of our practices with respect to the collection and use of your personal information. our dedication to protecting it and your rights and options to control your personal data and protect your privacy.

We are bound by the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and will protect your personal information in accordance with the principles set out therein.

This Privacy Statement applies to all personal information collected through and/or processed in connection with www.labwearstudios.com (the “Website”), app.labwearstudios.com (the “LabwearOS”), the services offered by LABWEAR and verbal, email, text and other electronic messages between you, our Website, LabwearOS, and/or LABWEAR personnel.

This Privacy Statement does not address the processing of personal data of employees and/or interns in the context of their employment or internship relationship with LABWEAR.

At LABWEAR, we consider all information that relates to you and identifies you personally, either alone or in combination with other personal information available to us as personal data.   • LabwearOS - when you (may) apply for access or use our LabwearOS or use our services in that respect offline;

  • Webshop – when you (may) order one of our products online;

Personal Identifiers


When you use our services through our Website and/or LabwearOS, we may collect your‎ first and last name, title, profession, company name, company profile, postal address, email address, phone number, username, password, social media accounts, billing information, shipping information, tax registration status and number, and/or demographic information (such as your gender, age and/or occupation),

 

Payment details


If you are ordering through our webshop, we may collect payment data, including but not limited to name, account number, credit card numbers, bank addresses, and payment method preferences. 

Personal account or registration details
When you create a personal account on LabwearOS, register for an event or make purchases in our webshop, we may record your sign-in details, name, and other information you fill out on your personal account or registration form or information we gather from your device.

Professional or employment-related information


If you are a candidate applying to join the LABWEAR team, we may collect your employment history, including resume or CV, and additional links including but not limited to portfolios and social media profiles. In addition, we may gather information through testing, in which case you will be informed in advance. Finally, we may handle passport information in case we need to assist with visa applications.

Internet or other similar network activity information


When you visit our Website or use our LabwearOS, we may register your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring website web-browsing behaviour, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of our Website, LabwearOS and services. We also collect personal data through cookies and similar technologies.

Your communication with us


When you communicate with us (including but not limited to verbal, email, text, chat (online or via social media), telephone or social media), we may register your communication with us in our database, including but not limited to your questions, queries, reactions, comments, survey submissions, contest entries or complaints.

Depending on your social network settings we may receive information from your social network provider. For example, when you sign in for our services using a social network account (if applicable), we may receive your social network profile including your contact details, interests, and contacts. This Privacy Statement only relates to information collected through the LABWEAR services, Website and/or LabwearOS. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the operation and/or contents of the websites of third-parties. You may also share information about yourself with others via LABWEAR. You are responsible for the information you share with others via the LABWEAR services. LABWEAR does not accept any responsibility or liability for this type of sharing.

We will answer your request within one month after receipt, unless we need more time. Then we will inform you within one month after receipt of your request that we need a maximum of another two months.

 

We are very committed to working with you to always obtain a fair resolution of any complaint or concern you might have in relation to our processing of your personal data. If, however, you feel that we have not been able to assist you adequately and do not comply with applicable privacy rules you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority using their website.

 

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

 

We may change this Privacy Statement at any time. If we make any substantial changes, we may notify you by sending you an e-mail to the last e-mail address you provided to us (if any), and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on our Website. This Privacy Statement was lastly amended in November 2024.
